Will Grayson, Will Grayson

By John Green and David Leviathan

This book is about two boys, both named Will Grayson, and how their lives intertwine. I liked this book but not as much as some of John Greens other books.  It has some funny parts and a some mature topics.

The genre of the next book group book I would like to read is realistic fiction because I really enjoy those kids of books and there are so many unique book in this genre that could take discussions so many different places.

This Poem is for the One Who Waved Back

The streets glittering with trash illuminate the peoples smiles
Their feet mark the plastic bottles on the sidewalk
Friends laugh infant of the gas station scarred with tags and broken glass
The case driving past blow plastic bags into the path of a mother and son, smiling and talking into a store
The man with a grin lacking of teeth waves at us and gives us friendly heroes as we pick up cheat bags and old beer bottles
This poem is for the one who waves back

Rooftoppers

By Katherine Rundell

After a ship reck, a baby is found by a man named Charles, floating in the middle of the English Channel in a cello case. They lived together for many years until the child services organization decides that it's time for her to live in an orphanage and lear how to be a proper lady. To prevent them from taking her, they go on a journey to find the girls birth mother.

I really liked this book. The characters  are reliable and it is a very good story. It was a very fast read for me. I really like realistic fiction books such as Wintergirls and Skinny.

The Host

By Stephanie Meyer

This book is about a girl in a post apocalyptic world where aliens called "Souls" have taken over. Her body is being taken over by Soul, but she is resisting. I really like this book because it is a very unique story and it the book never really gets boring. I also really like the movie, it is very similar to the book. The characters are relatable and they are all different and developed.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

By Mark Haddon

This book is follows the story of a boy named Christopher after he discovers the dory of his neighbors murdered dog. Christopher decides that he is going to solve the case of who killed him and write a book about it. Christopher is autistic and so it is through eyes that I have never look at the world with. I would recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction. I think that Abby would really like this book.
